Basic Rules of Teen Patti
Teen Patti is a three-card poker game popular across South Asia. It is played between a dealer and up to six players. Each player posts a boot (ante) before cards are dealt — on bdt44 this starts from ৳5. The dealer then gives each player three cards face-down.
You can choose to play Seen (look at your cards) or Blind (bet without looking). A Blind player pays half the current stake; a Seen player pays the full stake. Play continues clockwise until only one player remains or a show is called.
The player with the highest-ranking three-card hand wins the pot. If two players go to a show, the lower-hand player pays to see the other's cards — the better hand takes everything.

When two players hold the same type of hand, card values decide the winner. Ace is highest; in a 2–3–A sequence, Ace counts as low.
How Betting Rounds Work
After cards are dealt the first player to the dealer's left acts. Each turn you pick one of four options:

Seen (Chaal) — Look at your cards and bet the current stake or double it.

Blind — Bet without looking. Your stake is half a Seen player's current bet.

Show — Both remaining players reveal cards. Only a Seen player can call a Show against another Seen player.

Pack (Fold) — Drop out of the round. Your stake stays in the pot.
The round ends when all but one player has folded, or when two players agree to a Show. There is no fixed number of rounds — action continues until one of these conditions is met.
